How can I host a system?

Hosting systems is straightforward. Use the dev tool — either via the RPGScript VS Code extension or the standalone desktop app (download at rpg-companion.app/dev, Mac and Windows only) — to generate the release package, then host the output folder contents on any server — Amazon S3 with CloudFront, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, or any other CDN. Be sure to test your system with the app first.

Follow the guide in Hosting a resource repo — the process is the same and explained in full detail there. Just include your own systems instead of the default ones.

How can people use the system

This is easy! Just share your server/repository url with the path to the level where the systems.rpg file is located. This might be the root. e.g: https://my.awesome.server.com/rpg-systems.
